FTSE shows good start
FTSE 100 up on mornings trading
Investor in the United Kingdom were given a boost by the better than expected United States jobs data. Good news lifted the FTSE 100 this morning on opening by 0.2% to 6057 which gave an extra boost to companies offering very good news this morning.

Corporate news and analyst recommendations was first the main price drivers but were supported by the boost to economic sentiment from better than expected private sector job growth. The US jobless figures out today and non-farm payrolls could give the market a further boost.
The biggest mover around the FTSE 100 index was technology firm ARM. American Software giant Microsoft announced a combined project to design a windows operating system around the chip manufacturers products. ARM dominate the UK chip market and produce processors for smartphones and tablet pc’s.
BP shares also rose 1.57% to £5.07. This was even after the US oil enquiry accussed the company of cost cutting , that led to the oil disaster last year.
